If you think you have problems you must read the Kevin Saunders story. He should have been dead. The author of this book, Jon Benson, has another remarkable, but true story to tell. The main part of this book is more than 1 man's ideas. It is made up 52 individuals, all over 40, with different ideas and backgrounds and methods, but they all had a common goal - to become the best they could be and to give us some hope. Pros: * Very motivational reading. * Can be used by anybody, not just over 40. * Based on solid nutritional fundamentals and also on targeted training exercises. * Lots of goal setting strategies. * Special emphasis on protecting aging body parts, what exercises are best and how to do them. Cons: * Some exercises require gym equipment. (You won't need the gym equipment if you're just starting out.) This is a large book of 304 pages, but it was so fascinating that I didn't want to quit reading until I finished it. This book is co-authored by Tom Venuto of Burn the Fat-Feed the Muscle. I find this book to be of great value. |

I don't care for the title. It makes it sound like only Idiots can lose the fat. If you can get past the title then it's worth taking a look at if only for the novelty. The website claims that you don't get fat because of a lack of exercising. "You get fat because you don't eat the right foods at the right intervals each day." This simple statement is the basis premise of this weight loss system. It is partially true. It is not safe to lose more than 3lbs a week. They claim you can lose 9 lbs in 11 days, which I think you can when you first start because it will be mostly a water loss. Pros: * They do tell you to exercise by walking, which is very good. * There is an online diet generator. Cons: * Food choices are limited. * There are no testimonials on the webpage. * No one to contact if you need help or have questions. I believe you can lose a few pounds if that is your goal for the moment, but not for the long term. I would also rather deal with a person than a nameless company, but that's just me. For some people this program is all they are looking for, which is fine. It is the #1 seller on Clickbank. |
